Tedeschi Trucks Band stands as an oasis of musical integrity in today’s age of technological entertainment and auto-tuned vocals.

The 12-member supergroup led by guitarist Derek Trucks and singer-songwriter Susan Tedeschi draws upon decades of collective experience. When performing, their shared vision transcends genre boundaries – celebrating blues, rock, and soul songs all at the same time.

Tedeschi began singing with local groups when she was 13, before studying at Berklee. Soon thereafter she developed her gospel and blues singing skills along with honing her guitar techniques – earning comparisons to Bonnie Raitt as she progressed further into adulthood.

Tedeschi married Derek Trucks of Jacksonville, Florida, and the two are currently touring together as Tedeschi Trucks Band. Together they cover an eclectic musical spectrum ranging from classic rock, soul and blues music. Their concerts often draw thunderous applause.

Signs is the latest studio release from Layla + Phish’s duo following their 2021 live album that concluded their Layla set at Phish. Signs is an innovative take on Southern rock traditions.

Gabe Dixon

Dixon brings his unique musical approach to every The Total Bungle show, whether that means organ swells or the acoustic shuffle of “Midnight in Harlem.” His horn playing and vocal flourishes helped fill in for Kofi Burbridge’s absence.

Dixon has shared the stage with many notable artists such as Paul McCartney, O.A.R, Alison Krauss & Union Station and Loggins and Messina. His introduction into TTB has allowed them to broaden their musical repertoire by exploring new genres while offering more dynamic live experiences.

Brandon Boone

Susan Tedeschi and Derek Trucks of FUV Essentials make up this powerful band, which offers a mix of Southern rock, jazz and gospel. Their annual residencies at New York’s Beacon Theatre as well as Nashville have cemented them into popular consciousness.

Tedeschi’s captivating melodic solos draw upon the blues lexicon and often draw applause at Trucks The Band shows. She serves as Scottie Pippen to Trucks’ Michael Jordan!

TTB’s Grammy Award-winning repertoire showcases its world-class musicianship. Following Kofi Burbridge (keyboards and flute)’s recent passing away, TTB has welcomed versatile bassist Brandon Boone as part of its roster.

Tedeschi Trucks Band drummer Adam Browne is an exceptional talent – much like Scottie Pippen to Derek Trucks’ Michael Jordan in sports terms.

He keeps the beat at an exceptional pace that few large-roster bands can match, reaching the same wide variety of dynamic peaks only groups sure of their chemistry can attain. He knows his significance within the lineup.

Mike Mattison

Mike Mattison is an integral component of Tedeschi Trucks Band as both vocalist and songwriter, contributing emotive, intricate arrangements influenced by his Harvard degree in English and American Literature.

He, bassist Kofi Burbridge and drummer Tyler “Falcon” Greenwell form the core of this touring ensemble; also included are saxophonist Kebbi Williams and trombonist Elizabeth Lea. Over time, this large-roster outfit has developed the ability to produce various dynamic peaks through collaboration among its musicians.

As impressive as the band‘s larger moments are, its subtler touches are equally impressive: Dixon’s sublime piano tone on “Pieces,” Trucks’s restraint in his slide solos and Outkast collaborator Kebbi Williams’ sultry sax intro to “Made Up Mind,” or trumpeters Ephraim Owens and Elizabeth Lea providing just the right shading on numerous tracks are among these special moments.

Grammy-awarding musicians Derek Trucks and Susan Tedeschi continue their illustrious musical partnership in I Am the Moon, recorded to two-inch analog tape at their Jacksonville studio Swamp Raga.
