Wiz Khalifa & Flatbush Zombies – Red Rocks Amphitheatre

Wiz Khalifa & Flatbush Zombies have long been revered by hip-hop enthusiasts as an exceptional live act, and Red Rocks Amphitheatre provided the ideal setting to experience them in concert. From Wiz’s incredible hip hop hits, to Flatbush Zombies’ breathtaking performances of them at Red Rocks Amphitheatre against its beautiful mountain backdrop – their concert was an unforgettable night for all in attendance.

Flatbush Zombies opened the show with their heavy trap music featuring heavy beats and haunting lyrics, drawing rave reviews from attendees. Comprised of rapper Meechy Darko and producers Zombie Juice and Erick Arc Elliott from Brooklyn-based group Flatbush Zombies have become beloved figures within fans of their genre thanks to their distinct sound and style.

Wiz Khalifa kept things lively with his latest mixtape Taylor Allderdice, named after his high school in Pittsburgh and paying homage to its name. Following Rolling Papers last year, this release marks Wiz’s return to form, featuring production from Spaceghostpurrrp, Jake One and Frank Ocean samples – as well as lots of weed references – while still remaining accessible and listenable.

The rapper also debuted the video for “Ashanti,” his tribute to Pittsburgh and its hip-hop culture. This funky yet slow-mo affair showcases both of these talents while providing an insight into Pittsburgh’s hip-hop scene.

Wiz Khalifa will kick off 4/20 by performing at Denver‘s Cervantes Masterpiece Ballroom with EartHGANG and Chevy Woods as openers on April 19. Afterward, he’ll headline Red Rocks Amphitheatre’s 420 on the Rocks on April 20.

On April 28 and 29, Wiz will participate in Goldenvoice-sponsored rap festival The Smokers Club Fest in Long Beach, California. He’ll join other talent such as Mac Miller, Schoolboy Q, 2 Chainz, Trippie Redd, Juicy J, Isaiah Rashad, Drakeo the Ruler Curren$y and Flatbush Zombies at this festival.
