Key Glock first gained notoriety with his mixtape Glock Season. Since then, he’s signed to Paper Route Empire label through which his cousin operates and released several more albums; additionally he’s actively participated in music video scene.

Glock first made his mark on regional radio in 2017 after Young Dolph signed him to Paper Route EMPIRE, eventually producing two albums; Glockoma (2018) and Dum and Dummer 2 (2021).
Key Glock can often be seen wearing Air Jordan “Mocha” 3’s, an Amiri sweater and Seattle Mariners cap when performing with frequent collaborator Bandplay. He notes how many beats from Bandplay have his handwritten in them and rapping over each possibility contained within their folder – ideal for elemental Southern neck-snap music! Glock attributes his eye for production to his grandmother who exposed him to both blues and hip-hop during her childhood in South Memphis; moreover he credits Gucci Mane, Three 6 Mafia and Project Pat as major influences on his work.
