Sophie Hawley-Weld and Tucker Halpern met during their senior year of study at Brown University and quickly came together over their love of house music, Brazilian, Latin, and African melodies. Together they formed Sofi Tukker.

Sofi Tukker are an infectious dance music duo from New York with tropical beats and catchy hooks, known for their viral hit “Drinkee.” Their debut was met with critical acclaim, earning a Grammy nomination and ads campaigns with Peloton (“Batshit”) and Apple (“Best Friend”).

Through daily livestreams in 2020, they created The Freak Fam: an online community which meets weekly at meetups around the globe.
