Hardy Shows He Can Write Songs About Something Other Than Beer and Tailgate Parties
25th October 2024Transform panel allows you to observe live shapes as they are being created, making editing simpler and more accurate.
Create a shape tween from any frame on the timeline by selecting one between 1-30 and applying a width profile in the Property inspector.
Shapes
ShowShape uses a pointer to display shape information. Additionally, you can assign custom names to live shapes as well as enable or disable on-screen control widgets.
Use the pointer to mark keyframes for starting and ending shapes of a complex shape tweening sequence, animating between these points. Animate then interpolates intermediate frames according to your shape tweening effect, interpolating intermediate frames between those points according to its direction. Start off with letter a (for triangle, for instance, you would use letter B). Select last keyframe in sequence then move shape endpoint until letter b is marked on it – ending hint will then appear as green circle with letter A somewhere on it somewhere – repeat for as many shapes hints as desired!
Labels
Labels provide information about a shape. They may take many forms, from plain text to images or scalar values. You can also choose custom symbols for labels using the Label Class pane’s Label Symbol Gallery and control their properties through it.
Determine what information you want displayed on labels, such as links to webpages or structures from TIBCO Spotfire Lead Discovery. Here you can also set label renderer settings (for instance if using geometry or structure renderers to display labels).
Color of shapes. This can be specified as either a scalar value, M-element vector of colors, cell array of colors or three column matrix of RGB triplets. Name and Value pairs should appear according to how they were specified during function call;
Opacity
Color opacity can be customized using the dropdown menu that appears when selecting a shape. Here, you can change opacity of fill color, stroke color and outline color independently.
Show Layer Descriptions This option displays or hides layer names in the Layers sidebar, making it easier to quickly identify which layer needs editing. It is particularly helpful if working with many layers at once.
Tessellation options exist.
Colors
Fill colors are specified when filling shapes. Multiple hues can be selected to form gradients.
Label text color by using either a scalar value or an M-element cell array of character vectors associated with each shape(s). A name or [R G B] vector are available as options.
We examined responses to three sets of 45 colors that were each equally illuminated across the full CIE gamut (Supplementary Table 1). Hue selectivity ranged from 0 for circular distributions centered at their origin to 1 in cases with highly asymmetric distributions representing maximum hue tuning.
ShowShape allows you to specify a gradient stop percentage for each shape. Otherwise, ShowShape will randomly distribute stops across each one.
Text
Visio displays text that describes each handle’s function when hovering your mouse pointer over one of these special handles (indicated by).
Visio automatically switches into text editing when you select a shape with text, zooming in closer on its view if it was not already zoomed. Use the tools available on the Home tab to format text as needed.
Name-value pairs can be added to a ShowShape command using its argument syntax: Name=Value or (before R2021a) NameN=NameN,ValueN. Their order does not matter; both must be typed as scalar values instead of string values.
