Seven Lions has made his mark as an expert melodic bass producer through remixes such as Above & Beyond’s “You Got to Go,” his Polarize EP released through Casablanca Records, and even producing an independent album entitled Melancholic Bass (PLayers for Melodic Bass).
FOUR PAWS successfully rescued five younger lion siblings from neglectful and unsafe conditions in Romania, and now reside at LIONSROCK Big Cat Sanctuary in South Africa.
Seven Lions creates captivating yet delicate soundscapes, blending main room bombast with delicate melodies and bass hits. In 2012, Seven Lions unveiled his Polarize EP which showcased both heavy bass lines and upbeat melodies.
His first major break came after winning Above & Beyond’s You Got To Go remix competition, where Montalvo first began making waves globally. From that moment forward, his name began spreading quickly across the globe.
In October of that same year, he released the Days to Come EP under Skrillex’s OWSLA imprint and it reached #2 on iTunes Dance Charts and #1 on Beatport.
In 2014, he released the EP Worlds Apart on Casablanca Records with the single Don’t Leave featuring Ellie Goulding as its lead single. This marked a series of Top 5 hits including his remix of Royksopp’s Running To The Sea featuring Susanne Sundfor on Dog Triumph as well as Strangers with Myon & Shane 54 and Tove Lo.

The Darkness is an evil entity who revels in inciting negative emotions and violent actions of its hosts, especially Jackie. It lurks within all people and only manifests when its time comes; often manipulating its hosts into doing evil deeds such as convincing him to kill Jenny.
After retrieving his second artifact from Broadside Paper Factory, Jackie sets off in pursuit of another from Broadside Paper Factory. Unfortunately for him, however, the Brotherhood and their Hell Minions chase after him; during which he sees an illusion of Jenny at Canal St subway station; eventually being captured and locked up at Institution by The Darkness who take control of both body and mind.
Back in reality, Jackie is harshly reprimanded by the Darkness for attacking Swifty and reminded of Jenny’s suffering at her hands. Jackie agrees and successfully defeats Bragg and his forces at Thorn Bed much to her displeasure and the Darkness’ discontentment.
