What is REZZ?

Isabelle Rezazadeh, better known by her stage name REZZ, has made a name for herself as a DJ and producer since releasing her debut EP Insurrection in 2015. Since then she has become a staple on dance scenes worldwide thanks to her signature downtempo sound – amassing an avid following around ominous yet haunting downtempo tracks like 2022’s Spiral or 2018’s Certain Kind of Magic among many more EPs or full length albums releases – solidifying herself as tastemaker and trendsetter within bass music genre circles worldwide.

REZZ uses HypnoVizion as a platform to showcase both her productions and those from emerging artists. She maintains her independence by refusing ghost production in EDM music production, preferring instead to compose her songs from scratch. Our latest course, Haterade explores REZZ’s sound by breaking it down to its constituent elements before recreating an EP in her style with synths, drums and FX for maximum production development! This course promises to help producers of all abilities improve their own production skills!

Who is REZZ?

Her mesmerizing blend of future bass and trap has amassed a dedicated following; live shows from this artist provide an exhilarating sonic and visual experience unlike any other.

REZZ hails from Niagara Falls, Ontario and was inspired to begin producing music after attending an amazing deadmau5 show. She soon honed her craft using Ableton Live and YouTube tutorials and soon found herself producing at least one song every day – now creating full albums in as little as one week!

REZZ releases her music through OWSLA’s Nest HQ, mau5trap, and her own HypnoVizion label. She’s a prolific collaborator, having collaborated with artists like Zeds Dead, fknsyd, and Grabbitz among many others. REZZ takes an uncompromising stand against ghost production; producing all tracks herself instead.

REZZ is known for her genre-blending music, fusing techno with bass music and dark tones. She has released various EPs and albums since the release of Mass Manipulation as her debut record label HypnoVizion.

REZZ made her entrance into the electronic music scene via free releases on Soundcloud, which quickly attracted the notice of EDM stars such as Skrillex and Deadmau5 who both signed her to their respective labels.

REZZ has quickly garnered an enormous fan base since her debut at sold-out shows worldwide, known for her signature swirling LED goggles. Rezz has taken an anti-ghost production stance and produces all her tracks herself; her commitment is evident in each answer she gives; her enthusiasm adds fresh air into an industry often stagnant with excitement.
