Puscifier Primus – A Tribute to Maynard James Keenan

Maynard James Keenan announced earlier this year that to commemorate his 60th birthday he would take two of his bands – Puscifer and A Perfect Circle – out on tour alongside Les Claypool’s Primus for what’s been dubbed as Sessanta Tour shows, with each group taking turns performing sets throughout each night onstage at once and rotating sets between sets.

The concert format will mirror that of their acclaimed one-off performance at Los Angeles’s Greek Theatre called Cinquanta in 2014; which was released as a live album. Sessanta will expand beyond Los Angeles to East and South Coast dates as well. Similar to LA, musicians will switch over throughout each night’s performances.

Fans can expect a range of music, from the band‘s classic hits across their three projects to brand new material recorded and released as an EP by all three bands. Furthermore, they plan to offer special edition vinyl albums featuring different color variants at each performance.
