Jesse Kardon – Subtronics

Subtronics was founded out of a passion for both sub woofers and electronics, inspired by Jesse Kardon (AKA Subtronics) after discovering dubstep in high school and becoming fascinated with its culture, leading him to venture into production through tutorial videos.

His sound has evolved over the years, incorporating various styles and elements that transcend genre boundaries. Today he stands as one of the top bass producers and headliner performers, having sold out 50+ dates on his national tour called FRACTALS.

His Tours

Subtronics and his fans made sure the snowy day in Colorado didn’t stand in their way of having an amazing show, with glitter, rainbows, rave attire, glitter guns, and plenty of dance moves making for an unforgettable event that everyone who attended will remember fondly.

The show opened with Ahee, who gave an energetic performance of space club music with alien noises woven in with arm-pumping bass that created an almost dream-like sensation. Next came VEIL with her dark fantasy music featuring throat-rattling bass and unsettling vocal samples that resonated within the snowy bleachers.

Subtronics’ debut album FRACTALS is an impressive compilation of bass anthems and cutting-edge sound design. One standout track from this collection is Afternoon Coffee, which pairs smooth hip-hop style vocals with bizarre bass. Other tracks such as Amnesia and Black Ice demonstrate Subtronics’ signature ability to combine genres.

His Collaborations

Subtronics has collaborated with an array of artists and released music with top producers like GRiZ, Rezz and KAYZO – producing hard-hitting dubstep riddims as well as spacey trap vibes with his productions that push the envelope of modern bass music.

Subtronics and Rezz have followed up on their successful 2022 collaboration ‘Puzzle Box’ by unveiling another mind-boggling track: Black Ice. A slow builder featuring Rezz’s signature midtempo flare with Subtronics high energy dubstep drops for maximum impact, this song delivers both.

Deep synths combine with alluring melodies for an exhilarating auditory journey, while its dramatic drop provides the ideal counterbalance between their distinct styles. No wonder these two artists are considered masters in their genre!
